About Mary
I am a skilled media relations strategist, writer and communications planner with nearly 20 years of agency, corporate (public and private) and nonprofit experience. Prior to launching Haugen Public Relations I held account supervisor roles at Roepke Public Relations and the former Bozell Kamstra, and managerial and staff roles at Digital River, CenterPoint Energy (formerly Minnegasco), Children's Hospitals and Clinics, and Rollerblade. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Public Relations from the University of St. Thomas. I am a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Minnesota Valley Creative Corridor. I have covered a broad range of industries throughout my career and I quickly learn and adapt to new ones.
